Discoveries Bible - Psalm 23 - A Psalm of David
The Lord looks after me like a shepherd looks after his sheep.
That's why I live free from lack.
23:2
He gives me rest in His place of provision.
He refreshes me with peace and safety.
23:3
He repairs all the damage inside me.
He takes me by the hand and leads me into doing what is right because
that's the kind of God He is.
23:4
Sure, I walk through valleys of discouragement where death itself mocks
and threatens me.
But I don't cower in fear because You, God, are with me.
Your power drives off every enemy and keeps me in the place of eternal
good.
23:5
In fact, you spread a table of celebration right in front of me, while
my enemies look on, helpless to do anything about it.
You chose me and You gave me my own unique place in Your heart, Your
family and Your kingdom.
How can I contain love like that? I am overwhelmed.
23:6
Life itself is too small to contain the goodness and love You have for
me.
I am family; God has given me an eternal place in His home.
